Cruising the Exumas

Our stay in Nassau ended on the 17th as we headed out toward Shroud Cay, where we enjoyed a dinner of chili and potatoes cooked over the fire under a blanket of stars. The following day we sailed to Pipe Cay and tied up to a sea wall at the ruins of DeCA Station. This presented a great opportunity for the kitties to bring a few guests aboard..reptiles...

We explored the area by dinghy and snorkeled the Rocky Dundas and Tom's Elkhorn Reef. From Pipe, we headed to Staniel Cay, home of beach pigs! (and goats and chickens) We snorkeled the area including the Thunderball Grotto (made famous by the movie Thunderball).

Presently, we are enjoying Black Point. This island is home to Lorraine's Cafe and Scorpio's Bar. We will be here through Monday as we wait for Rudi to arrive!

From Bimini...

Hello Everyone!
From Bimini we headed to Chubb Cay, then to Nassau, then to Norman's cay, then to Shroud Cay , to Waderick Wells, and back to Nassau where we will remain for the next week.

We had to provision for the essentials...

We have enjoyed incredible views and met some really amazing people! On Dare II, we met Mike and Whitney (photo cred), an awesome couple from Pennsacola, FL.

Thinking big in the land and sea park!
Walking through "the best bone-fishing" (at least it was before we got there...)

Gia with the starfish we found in Chubb Cay.

Tonight, we are enjoying Super Bowl Specials at The Green Parrot in Nassau!
I hope you all are staying warm! Feel free to comment here, email me at roxannesansan@gmail.com, or find out more about our trip on the boat's blog at sansan.livesaildie.com
